Аннотация: The article discusses the main aspects of architectural design and construction of buildings covered with earth. The problem of degradation of the natural balance due to human activity is touched upon. To solve it, the experience of foreign craftsmen in creating buried buildings that do not deform the flora in this area is analyzed. The purpose of this work is to analyze the impact of human activity on the environment, to identify ways to preserve the natural framework by creating buildings covered with earth and the principles of their design. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are set: to analyze methods for the construction of such houses, to consider successful projects of buildings and structures buried in the soil. Having considered successful examples of project implementation, it was summed up that the creation of buried buildings is a promising direction of "Green" construction, on which the preservation of the natural framework depends.
