Аннотация: The article is devoted to project technology's role in forming linguaculturalogical competence for senior-stage school students. The article discusses the basic requirements for using the project method, benefits and drawbacks, and peculiarities of developing the linguaculturalogical competence of senior-stage school students. Project-based teaching enhances special activities that will prepare students for the project context and allows them orientation for self-realization. Using project technologies helps to present the studied material more colorfully and contributes to the effective assimilation of material in foreign language lessons. Developing linguaculturological competence in foreign language classes entails improving students' linguistic and cultural knowledge of the nation where the language being studied is spoken.
