Artificial intelligence in piloting: autonomous systems against humans

The paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in aviation, contributing to the efficiency and convenience for aviation systems. The main advantages and disadvantages of the introduction of AI are considered as well as examples for successful application of AI technologies in civil aviation are given.
