Аннотация: The article provides a comparative analysis of the values used in the system of public administration of the Russian Federation in comparison with the universal values declared in international legal acts. The article substantiates the importance of applying a value-based approach to the public administration system to improve the quality of life of the population. Both domestic and international normative legal acts and the works of domestic and foreign scientists are used as sources of information. The main method of cognition is monographic.
