Аннотация: This article is dedicated to the research of the mechanisms of cultural diplomacy implemented in bilateral Russia-China cooperation and its influence on their general relations. Nowadays, concerning the reversal of Russian external policy to the East after the events of 2014, Asia-Pacific Region, and China in particular, being a great power in terms of economic growth and its potential, is gaining importance for Russia. Undoubtedly, cultural diplomacy plays an indispensable role in harmonic relations of China-Russia cooperation. Cultural diplomacy is the very instrument for the creation of social opinion in the partner-country as well as the image of the country abroad.
