Аннотация: The most important role of the strategy for the socio-economic development of the region places increased demands on the quality of its development. Strategic planning is an important tool for managing the development of a territory in conditions of intensive transformation of the external and internal environment. Currently, issues of strategic planning for regional development are becoming relevant. One of the essential criteria for organizing the development of a regional design methodology is the understanding that strategy is not a formal mechanism for enhancing the competitive advantages of the region, but a long-term tool for achieving agreement on the interests of the territory’s stakeholders.
