Аннотация: This article examines current issues related to improving anti-corruption policies of local government bodies in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main approaches of domestic and international researchers to preventing corruption at the municipal level are analyzed, and key risks and barriers limiting the effectiveness of implemented measures are identified. Based on an analysis of the practices of the State Institution "Akim's Office of the Zerenda District," problem areas in organizing anti-corruption work are identified, including a decrease in the intensity of preventive measures, the absence of a comprehensive local regulatory act, and insufficient public access to information on ongoing activities. Recommendations are proposed for regulatory, organizational, and informational improvements to the corruption prevention system, ensuring increased transparency of government activities and the development of a sustainable anti-corruption culture at the local level.
