Аннотация: In the context of the global environmental crisis, access to environmental information has become a very important condition for effective environmental management and the protection of citizen's environmental rights. Legal mechanisms that guarantee such access form the basis for carrying state environmental policies, increasing the responsibility of economic entities, and preventing conflicts related to the use of natural resources. Despite the fixation of this right in international conventions and national legislation, its practical implementation faces significant challenges. The purpose of this study is to explore the main ways of implementing access to environmental information, the challenges associated with such access, and potential solutions to these issues.
