Аннотация: There is evidence of scientific literature that adverse effects of environmental factors affect the clinic and the course of myopia. A comparative study of refractive indices of the northern and southern zones of the ecologically unfavorable region of the southern Aral Sea region showed high rates of astigmatism and anisometropia in myopia. According to the results of our data, the prevalence of which prevails in the northern zone, where air pollution is higher than that of drinking water. It is necessary to further study the problem and develop measures to prevent complications of myopia in children.
