Аннотация: This publication provides a comprehensive analysis of the key issues related to the legal regulation of the institution of a marriage contract. The main objective of the study is a comprehensive study of the legal characteristics of the marriage contract and the specifics of its regulatory mechanisms. Based on the regulatory framework and scientific literature, the definition of the concept of a marriage contract, the main aspects of its content are presented, as well as controversial issues on this topic. The work is of practical importance, since studying the issues of the legal regulation of the marriage contract contributes to the formation of a competent approach to concluding such agreements, and also helps to minimize the risks of disputes and conflicts between spouses in the future. In his article, the author comes to the conclusion that the institution of the marriage contract as a developing state institution needs additional legal regulation.
