Аннотация: The article is devoted to the administrative and legal forms of public administration, which are aimed at protecting a specially protected natural area of local importance, it considers such a phenomenon as “public environmental control”.. The important role of the public administration in the field of environmental protection is stated. It is concluded that it is necessary to direct the efforts of the public administration to protect natural areas of local importance.
