Аннотация: Digitalization processes are an integral component of modern society, determining the level and direction of its socioeconomic development. It is advisable that digital development be managed not only at the national level, but also at the regional level. In Russia, the level of digitalization varies significantly across regions and depends on both the region's overall socioeconomic status and the demand for digital technologies. The region's digital development policy has a strategic focus and is designed to improve the population's well-being, strengthen the economy's competitive position, and advance economic management to a qualitatively new level. Focusing policy on proportionally aligning supply and demand for digital technologies is possible through the implementation of a set of mechanisms to support businesses and the public in the development, implementation, and deployment of digital technologies, as well as the creation of institutional conditions for digital processes.
