Clinical evaluation of mucogingival pathology in elderly and senile patients with complete absence of teeth

At the dental appointment, a periodontist examined 168 elderly and senile patients using full removable plate prostheses and presenting complaints. The service life of the prostheses did not exceed 2 years. Based on the complaints of patients and the experience of dissatisfaction with complete removable plate prostheses, which reduce the quality of life, a clinical assessment of the presence of mucogingival pathology was carried out.
