Various organizations participate in assessing the competitiveness of a region by proposing their own criteria and indicators that measure the competitiveness of any region. Many assessment methods also take into account purely economic indicators, such as the availability of natural resources, the favorable geographical position of the region, the rational distribution of productive forces, social factors such as the level of education of the population, the availability of human and intellectual capital.
