Аннотация: The article discusses the methodological principles and metacognitive tactics used in the training of specialists for the judicial system.
In accordance with the program of training of law students, methodological principles that should be taken into account in the implementation of experimental work on the development of skills and abilities of students (by the example of listening) are specified. The main tactics that allow to optimize the process of professional training of specialists are identified.
