The communicative behavior of the legal scholar through the lens of American linguoculture
The article studies the communicative behavior of Alan Morton Dershowitz, an American legal scholar and political commentator. The specificity of the lawyer's legal speech is traced (on the example of Dershowitz's defense speech at the impeachment trial of Donald Trump). The specificity of the construction of the lawyer's speech is revealed. It is concluded that verbal behavior determines the success of verbal communication.
