Аннотация: The article shows that the educational system of Russia is at the stage of its reform in accordance with the changed demands of the society for the training of qualified specialists with qualitatively new professional competencies. The necessity of transition from a reproductive to a creative model of the organization of the educational process in modern conditions is substantiated. The innovative advantages of modular training technologies (MTT) for the training of qualified specialists are shown. The practical expediency of using the innovative advantages of the MTT in the framework of modern pedagogical technologies (MPT) is revealed. Their implementation in the educational activities of institutions of higher and additional education, as well as in the systems of advanced training and retraining at enterprises, opens new prospects and additional opportunities for improving the quality of training qualified specialists for all spheres of the Russian economy.
