Аннотация: The article deals with the problem of interdisciplinarity through the prism of the history of its development in domestic and foreign tradition. The article identifies effective methods of formation of interdisciplinary competencies of university specialists, on the example of specialists for the judicial system. The difficulties of their application in the Russian tradition are traced. The article reveals the advantages of using the case method for teaching disciplines of social and humanitarian cycle, in particular teaching a foreign language of the profession.
