Аннотация: The article examines the issue of the determinacy of psychological and pedagogical aspects of adaptation to educational activities at a university by psychophysiological characteristics of students. The results of the study show the relationship between the level of adaptation, determined on the basis of didactic and socio-psychological criteria, and the type of functional asymmetry of the brain. It was revealed that first-year students with an equal-hemispheric type of functional asymmetry of the brain undergo the process of adaptation to educational activities most successfully.
