Аннотация: The author analyzes historical approaches to mentoring, starting with ancient philosophers (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Democritus), and highlights their key methods of knowledge transfer. The benefits of digital mentoring, such as flexibility and accessibility, and its disadvantages, including the risk of social isolation. The role of mentoring in the development of professional competencies and strengthening social contacts through involvement in professional communities is emphasized.
