The influence of the storage method on micromycetes proteolytic activity

Аннотация: The aim of this work was to study the influence of storage on viability and proteolytic activity of collection strains of filamentous fungi. Preservation of the collection strains of filamentous fungi on Capek solid medium with agar under Vaseline oil and without it allows to preserve the viability of the vast majority of the studied micromycetes and their ability to secrete proteinases for 24 months. The choice of optimal method of storage requires a preliminary study of species and strain specificities of the cultures. Storage of micromycetes on a modified medium with the replacement of sucrose on collagen leads to lysis indices increasing and can be recommended for conservation of the promising proteases producers.
