Аннотация: The loss of qualified specialists is certainly one of the most significant problems for any country. Specialists are the same resource as all other factors of production, since they are directly involved in creating a certain kind of benefits for the country and its citizens. The loss of even a few valuable scientists and workers is a big problem, as the industry is deprived of "means of production". This phenomenon has been called "Brain drain". This article highlights the causes of this phenomenon, its consequences and methods of solution. Russian Federation was taken as the example of the country with brain drain and IT specialists were taken as specialists.
