Аннотация: Thermodynamic knowledge of liquid silicon is key in the production of solar-grade silicon raw materials from molten silicon. In this study, the liquidus curve of binary silicon alloys is calculated from two constants. We consider the determination of the liquidus fraction of silicon in silicon alloys with Al, Ca, Zn, Cu, Ag, Sn, Pb, Bi, Sb, Ga, In, and reliable data are used to determine the liquidus constants. The liquidus curve for binary systems of silicon is added and plotted on graphs, for visual perception. This study shows that complex liquidus curves can be calculated and constructed without the use of sophisticated software, and quite accurately correspond to experimental data. The correlation between the determined liquidus constants, which can be used to obtain a more serious understanding of the thermodynamics of binary silicon alloys, is also observed.
