Аннотация: This article is devoted to the study and translation of phrasal verbs with figurative potential. The article reveals the concepts of "phrasal verb" and "phrasal verb with figurative potential". A brief classification of a group of phrasal verbs with figurative potential is given, as well as methods and examples of translating these verbs taken from original artistic sources.
