The study of professional vocabulary in the classroom «professional Russian language» by students of non-linguistic specialties

Аннотация: This paper describes the techniques of working with the professional vocabulary of the specialty, which allow to positively influence the assimilation of the corresponding terms in the specialty based on the identification of the semantics and etymology of terms and terminological phraseological units. Working with professional vocabulary should not be an end in itself, but as techniques that primarily contribute to the development of students' mental cognitive activity, the assimilation of their concepts and, of course, memorizing the terms themselves in the specialty.
