Аннотация: The article raises the problem of the historical development of the national apprenticeship. Identify and describe the main stages in the development of craft education in Russia in XVII - beginning of XX centuries. The authors actualize the historical and pedagogical heritage of national vocational school, which may contribute to the formation of new targets in the vocational education system.
