Аннотация: The main idea of the article is to show the relevance of education in the interests of sustainable development, in particular when training specialists for the light industry. A few words about the concept of sustainable fashion, what it consists of and what tasks it can solve in the future. The main provisions of sustainable design are briefly listed, on the basis of which methodological provisions are developed to form the concept of teaching sustainable design.
