Аннотация: Modern theory of management envisages the performing of the assessment of the company’s competitiveness using various methods: evaluation of the internal and external factors, pace of the market growth, purchasing power of the customers. Within the current investigation, the author provides a comprehensive analysis of different approaches, highlight their drawbacks and makes a conclusion, that the best way to evaluate the competitiveness of the economic entity is to rely preferably on the analysis of the economic indices, taking into account the multifactorial nature of the modern corporate economy.
