Municipal programs as a tool for managing the development of rural areas

The article contains the results of a practical study of the application of the target program method in managing the development of rural areas. On the example of the Maryanovsky municipal district of the Omsk region, the main problems of the application of municipal programs for the implementation of the development goals of municipalities are outlined.
