Аннотация: The EU has historically been the leader of the global environmental agenda. However, the evolution of the green strategy raises an important question about how, in what form and to what extent trade policy correlates with sustainable development and compliance with commitments made under international agreements. The only obvious provision is that when making decisions, the interests of a wide range of institutions and market actors should be taken into account, including partner countries that supply raw materials and first-stage goods, including from the point of view of competitiveness in the open market.
