Аннотация: The article presents the approbation of the capabilities of the author's computer technique "Permutations 1" in determining the type of planning among fifth-graders. In a pilot experiment with 16 students, this opportunity was realized, since it was shown that one part of the subjects solved the problems of this methodology using a meaningful type of planning, the other part - using a formal type of planning.
