Аннотация: The article is devoted to the analysis of the legal status of students of educational institutions of the Russian Federation and their legal representatives. Special attention is paid to such concepts as legal status, educational institution, student, rights and obligations, etc. In the process of research, the author comes to the conclusion that the norms of educational legislation contain certain mechanisms related to the implementation and protection of the rights of students, their legal representatives of students, as well as the responsibility of this category of participants in educational relations.
