Аннотация: The article reveals the problem of the need for the formation of a multicultural educational environment in higher education. This environment is considered as a condition of tolerant attitude towards representatives of other ethnic groups and cultures in order to build constructive and effective interaction with representatives of other cultures. The article presents also the program “Intercultural dialogue”, which was tested at Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University and which aims to include representatives of different cultures in the multicultural environment of the university.
