On the issue of periodization of craft education in Russia

The article raises the problem of the historical development of the national apprenticeship. Identify and describe the main stages in the development of craft education in Russia in XVII - beginning of XX centuries. The authors actualize the historical and pedagogical heritage of national vocational school, which may contribute to the formation of new targets in the vocational education system.
