Anthropomorphism as an essential feature of religious and scientific thinking
This article explores the phenomenon of manifestation of anthropomorphism as a mechanism for cognition of the surrounding reality. A critical analysis of anthropomorphism in the writings of Xenophanes, Marx, Gadamer, Vico and Nietzsche reveals the characteristic features of building religious and scientific pictures of the world, expressed in the inevitable extrapolation of the human image and its properties on the nature of various objects, processes and phenomena.
