Аннотация: Тhe article analyzes the activities of the surgical thoracic Department of Orel Regional Clinical Hospital for the five-year periods from 2007 to 2011 and from 2012 to 2016, reflects the dynamics and features of the development of surgical thoracic service, new achievements in providing medical care to the population of the Orel region on the profile of "thoracic surgery".
