Аннотация: For Central Asia, where from time immemorial, the lion's share of water taken from nature was sent to the fields, the history of water relations is primarily the history of irrigation. The climatic conditions of the region determined the appearance of the first centers of civilization in oases adjacent to river basins. Five to six thousand years ago, nomads built they’re first a stationary settlement, we sowed scraps of land around it, most likely with millet or sesame seeds, and then dug a couple of irrigation ditches to the fields a little more two kilometers. This is how the first irrigation system was born in this area.
