Conditions of Storytelling’s Implementation into Foreign Language Education

Аннотация: The article presents storytelling technology and its possible implementation into foreign language education aimed at developing students’ creative potential, linguistic competence and motivation for learning a foreign language. The concept of storytelling in narrative communication, its characteristics, purposes of application, functions, types of a story, the role of a narrator are discussed in the article.
Storytelling technology can be applied in foreign language education according to dramogermeneutical approach with emphasis on theatrical pedagogy.
