«Justification» of violence: ethical and philosophical aspect

The article presents an attempt, within the framework of the classification of answers available in the scientific world to the question of “justification” of violence in society, to highlight the understanding of the use of force in the Russian religious and philosophical tradition into a special category. The emphasis is placed on the ethical and philosophical aspect of the “power of moral choice” of a person who chooses a way of using the violence in the fight against evil, with the conclusion about the close relationship and interdependence between the choice of force and the presence of guilt.
