Аннотация: . The article examines the issue of achievements in the field of criminology in the states within the economic and political organization of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). Special attention is paid to the achievements of the XXI century in Russia. Attention is focused on the methods and conditions of criminology development. The reasons for the appearance of achievements in the field under study are revealed.
