Аннотация: The article deals with consideration of the issues, regarding to food security and import substitution in the agriculture of Russia. The article reveals the notion of food security, import substitution policy for Russia. The efficiency of import substitution is estimated by statistical analysis of data for some indicators in agriculture and forecasts for further development are given.
