On the question of energy saving in the production of instant chicory drink

Аннотация: Beverage coffee substitute –chicory soluble pribegaet there is an increasing demand in the market due to its valuable biological and consumer properties, in this regard, each year increasing the volume of its production, which leads to the need of its modernization with the aim of improving the performance of the corresponding production lines and the reduction of its energy consumption. The most energy-intensive processes are concentration of chicory extract and its subsequent drying. To improve the productivity and energy efficiency of these processes, a sublimation dryer for liquid products is offered. Its use will eliminate the process of extract concentration from the production line of soluble chicory, which will significantly reduce energy consumption, as the original dryer has a high performance due to the rapid dehydration of fine particles. The above makes the proposed freeze dryer cost-effective for implementation in the appropriate processing line.
