History of corporate law development

The purpose of this article is to study the evolution of corporate law as an important area of legal science and practice, covering legal norms governing social relations related to the formation and activities of corporations (corporate forms of legal entities). The author analyses the main stages of development of corporate law, starting from its origin in ancient civilizations and ending with the present. The study uses historical, comparative and analytical methods. In conclusion, the author summarizes the stages of development of corporate law, focusing on modernity.
