Аннотация: The problem of the subjective trust to others as a factor of formation of the individual adaptive potential is described. The relation of trust-to-others level and cognitive (personal identity) and affective (self-attitude) components of self-consciousness is analyzed. The results of an empirical study of self-attitude and personal identity of students with lower and higher levels of trust to other people are described. It has been revealed that students with a higher level of trust to others are more self-positive and have less crisis experiences in the process of their personal identity formation.
