Аннотация: In the article the problems of legal regulation of the metal deposit agreement are considered, and a legal analysis of the new article 844.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation which establishes the features of the bank deposit contract in precious metals is conducted. Based on the results of the study, proposals have been developed to improve the legislation of the Russian Federation.
