Аннотация: A personality-oriented approach is necessary for individualization of learning, since it allows taking into account the individual psychological characteristics of students, which, in turn, largely determine the features of their learning. In the process of studying, the English language course, which aims primarily to develop cognitive skills and linguistic competence of schoolchildren, also acquires general educational significance, as it contributes to the development of intellectual and creative abilities.
