Аннотация: Scientific research of the XIX century in the field of physics and psychology gave impetus to the emergence of an artistic movement – pointillism. Artists began to take a new approach to painting techniques using the manner of writing separate strokes of the correct dot shape reminiscent of a mosaic. This creative method became a source of inspiration for fashion artists in the 2010s. The article zooms in on this interesting phenomenon by examining the causes of the trend.
